JLPT Preparation Courses

Preparation courses for JLPT N2, N3, N4 & N5

bullet Before Christmas each year, many of our students sit JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test), as you probably know. This year Alpha is going to have two sets of preparation courses:

  JLPT Preparation Course - Total course    
 

8 session course starting in the week beginning 10th October.

   
 

Once a week, 2.5 hours per lesson, 20 hours in total

   
 

N3: Start: 13 October - Every Thursday from 18:30 to 21:00

   
 

N2: Start: 15 October - Every Saturday, from 10:00 to 12:30

   
  In the first four sessions, important grammatical points and sentence patterns will be revised, as well as essential vocabulary and Kanji for each exam level. The latter four sessions focus on working on past papers and mock tests.    
£300 (Registration fee will be added for non-Alpha students)
 
  JLPT Preparation Course - Practice course    
 

The second half of the Total course: 4 session course starting in the 2nd week of November.

   
 

Once a week, 2.5 hours per lesson, 10 hours in total, date/time TBA.

   
  Suitable for students who already have a solid grammar / vocabulary /Kanji base for the exam level they aim at.    
£160 (Registration fee will be added for non-Alpha students)

 

bullet Please contact our reception staff by Friday 23rd September if you are interested in the courses, as the days and times for the courses are to be fixed after students have stated preferences.

bullet Both courses will be held in the evening on weekdays or on Saturday daytime. The number of students in each class will be between three and seven.

bullet The closing date for the application for JLPT exam is Thursday 6th October at 6pm. You can apply online on the SOAS language centre website.
