Nihongo Kentei

The "Nihongo Kentei" exam was first held in Japan in June 2007. The exam has 6 levels. Test items differ by level in order to closely measure one’s knowledge and ability. Personal result sheets are issued after the test to help identifying your strong and weak points.

　The "Nihongo Kentei" exam has been held in London since the 2nd exam of 2008, and is open to both Japanese people and foreign Japanese language learners. In London, the "Nihongo Kentei" exam is held twice a year, as in Japan. In total, over 320,000 people have taken this exam in the world.
